I'm pretty sure i could have played these hands better. 1 point is this is VERY early in the tourny however this is a lil higher class than i usually play and maybe i let intimidation play a factor..i dont like playing for all my chips early in any tourny, i do it when i have too but i try to avoid it when possible....anyway after these 2 and a few more i was in a hole i never dug out of and was eliminated the 1st hand after the break.....anyway all opinions appreciated. even the 'take up knitting' ones....lol

This one was tough but to many times i see guys playing K10........plus 1010 99 inside straight draw and the flush draws all had me dominated.i stabbed at it but on the re-raise i felt it best to lay it down. NOW late in a tourny it would b much different, for 1 the pre flop raise would have been much higher and id have been all-in on the flop .but early here i didnt like the risk....WEAK??????????

OK here my intention was to bet the pot, however just as went to hit bet pot the screen either changed or i hit the wrong button.and bet 40 came out instead...HUGE error i think.....in the smaller tournys the player wouldnt lay down that Ks to an all-in bet but here i think if i had gotten in the proper bet he lays it down...or im i just lucky it didnt cost me more than it did???

I usually go about 5-6 times the big blind when playing 10's like that, if its early on in the tournament. Too many overcards out there, especially online when people play just about every ace. At least for me, its tough to get away from a hand and I'd rather not get called than face a tough decision after the flop if any overcards hit. Anyways, thats what I would have done. Not saying that is neccessarily how the hand should have been played.

I absolutely hate AK. The hand haunts me, I can't win with and can't win when I go against it. Its also a hand thats always hard for me to get away from, so I'll also bet like 5-6 times the big blind with it. And if I end up getting called pre-flop and hit either an A & K on the flop I almost always go all in. Its going to take a hell of a hand to beat me, and I don't want to let someone draw cheaply. Again, just what works for me. There are probably many others that play this hand better than me though.
